OUR STORY
Farming was not our original plan. Though we've always loved and appreciated agriculture and I (Kristin) grew up around farming, we did not see ourselves becoming farmers. It wasn't until we started homeschooling our kids in 2015 that we went down the rabbit hole of healthier, more traditional living. We began by replacing many of our chemical-laden household and health and beauty products with homemade versions and growing more of our own food. We felt better than ever and became ‘hooked on homemade’.
In 2020, when the world became so uncertain, we delved even further into homesteading and farming ventures, expanding our gardens and adding additional livestock. The following year, we opened our self-service farm stand to share our homegrown and handcrafted products with the community. Today, the farm stand offers pastured eggs, homemade jams & seasonings, fresh & dried herbs, and baked goods, plus seasonal produce, plants, and flowers. We currently raise chickens, ducks, geese, and sheep (for wool and dairy). We’ve grown little by little each year and plan to continue expanding our offerings going forward, including on-farm workshops in 2026!
Our farm is built around regenerative and holistic practices. We’re committed to sustainable farming, offering organically grown and sustainably produced products you can trust. We prioritize the well-being of our animals, the health of our land, and the integrity of everything we produce. Our farm is truly a family affair, with much of what you see thoughtfully managed by two or more of us working side by side.
We believe in the power of hyper-local food: knowing where it comes from, how it’s raised, and the people behind it. We’d love to see a farm stand in every neighborhood!
We’re so thankful to each and every person who supports our farm and helps keep us going. When you shop our farm stand or come for a workshop, you’re investing not just in your own family, but in ours too. And for that we are sincerely grateful.
